Different Spaces, the Same Community
All three living options at Khwan Retreat give residents access to the same community — shared meals, activities, gardens, and relationships with the same staff and neighbours. What differs is the amount of private space and the degree of independence.
Some residents prefer to be in the heart of things; others value the ability to close their own door and cook their own breakfast when they feel like it. We built the community to accommodate both, without creating a two-tier experience.
Residents who join at one level can usually shift to another as their circumstances change — without the disruption of moving to a new community or starting over with new carers.

The first weeks are about getting comfortable. Staff check in regularly and the community tends to welcome new residents naturally.
Option One
Countryside Living Room
A comfortable private room in the community's main residential building, overlooking the Khao Yai foothills. Each room includes a single bed or double bed option, wardrobe, writing desk, and private bathroom. Three home-cooked meals daily, daily housekeeping, weekly laundry, and full access to all shared spaces.

Includes all standard community services plus twice-weekly room refresh with fresh linens and flowers, priority dining seating, and the weekly market excursion. Small fridge and tea-making facilities in the room.

Independent Cottage
A standalone cottage on the community grounds offering full independence with the comfort of nearby support. Includes bedroom, living room, kitchenette, bathroom, covered porch, and a small fenced garden. Full community access with the option to prepare personal meals. Weekly cleaning, garden maintenance, and daily morning and evening check-ins. Town transport three times weekly.

Privacy & Data Protection
Resident information is handled in accordance with Thailand's PDPA. Personal details are never shared beyond the care team without consent.
Emergency Preparedness
All staff are trained in basic first aid. Emergency procedures are in place, and the community maintains a direct relationship with the nearest hospital in Pak Chong.
Quality of Daily Life
Quarterly resident reviews, family communication, and open feedback channels are standard — not optional. We believe good community living is a continuous effort.
